Tara Ord Sidorovich vanished from her home on October 1, 2001.

She did not return home by nightfall that day and her family seek help from the police.

Eventually, after nearly a year in July 2002, they found human remains in the nearby woods, the skeleton was analyzed and determined it was Tara’s remains.

The investigation and medical reports suggested Tara had died due to a blunt force trauma on her ribs and chest. The missing case was changed into homicide and police started their investigation.

However, authorities did not find many clues at the beginning of the case. They interviewed many people close to Tara including her friends and neighbors but they did not find much luck.

The police found two repairmen David Ray McMannis and Phillip Barr had visited Tara’s home on the day of her disappearance to mend some plumbing but the police did not have any evidence against them to make an arrest.

Everything changed when a former prisoner Michael Artell came forward with some information relating to the case that he had acquired during his time in prison in 2007.

Michael told the police one of his former prison mates Phillip Barr was scared about being a suspect in the murder case of Tara.
