After a protracted illness, Coral Pritchard-Gordon, a well-known figure in the Newmarket racing world and a long-time partner of trainer Sir Michael Stoute, died at the age of 73 in August 2020. She had been hospitalized for 11 months after obtaining a malignant and incurable brain tumor.
