A murder case in 2017 was being investigated for quite a long time. Shelby Head was reported missing but her remains were only found a year later. Following this confusing case, a man named Raymond Nolan was arrested.

What Happened To Shelby Head? Murder Case
Shelby Head was murdered by a man named Raymond Nolan in 2017. Her missing reports were filed on 18th November 2017. The case was very complicated as neither the woman was found nor her dead body.
In 2018 February, the police department got to the place where her body was after arresting Nolan. The body was decomposed and was very hard to identify. It was only with the help of dental records that it could be confirmed that it was Shelby.
On 19th November 2017, Nolan has killed her and disposed of her body in a wooded area off Syrian Road in Marlboro County in drainage. He stabbed her and the autopsy results tell that the woman does due to trauma and forced to the head as well as stab wounds.
However, the details on why he killed her and what exactly happened are not revealed as of now.
Raymond Nolan Was Arrested For Shelby Head Murder
Raymond Nolan was arrested only in 2018 after a vigorous investigation by the police force. The case hearing was delayed concerning the complexity of the case. After nearly 4 years on 27th January 2022, he was convicted of killing Shelby Head.
Bennettsville Police Dept. revealed that the convicted has been sentenced to 45 years of prison by the court. His charges are for murder and destruction of human remains. Nolan’s 10 years of prison is for the latter.
He will have to serve at least 85% of his punishment before actually being able to apply for parole.
