The #13 ranked in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (U.F.C.) Bantamweight ranking went head to head against the #9 ranked U.F.C. Bantamweight in The UFC PPV main card on Saturday. The match was officially ruled off after Munhoz reported to the doctor about being unable to see.
This was a much-awaited and anticipated top 15 fight. But it had a rather dramatic and disappointing ending.
The duel was promising to be a tactical fight. Sean had landed 25 strikes on Munhoz, while the Brazilian had already landed 26 strikes on the Helena native before the match was ruled off.
