What happened to Patrick McCaw?

American professional basketball player Patrick McCaw, who plays for the Delaware Blue Coats of the NBA G League, was born on October 25, 1995.

He was a college basketball player for the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels and was named to the Mountain West Conference’s (MWC) second team as a sophomore in 2016. The Milwaukee Bucks selected McCaw in the second round of the 2016 NBA Draft.

In his first three seasons, he won three NBA championships—two with the Golden State Warriors and one with the Toronto Raptors—becoming the only player to accomplish this feat while transferring teams.

McCaw was chosen by the Milwaukee Bucks on June 23, 2016, with the 38th overall choice in the 2016 NBA Draft.

In Golden State, McCaw was on a very promising path, but a spinal injury he sustained in 2018 was the first of many illnesses that caused him to veer off course.

McCaw was hoping to quickly establish his worth with the Cleveland Cavaliers when he was released after just three games, which should have been the first indication that his play had deteriorated.
