Journalist, Oleksandra Sasha Kuvshynova, serving as a consultant for Fox News in Ukraine was killed alongside Fox News cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski on 14th March.
Oleksandra just 24, was killed near Kyiv. Similarly, Pierre, the cameraman and veteran war-zone journalist was just 55 years old at the time of his death.
Suzzane Scott, CEO of Fox News Media confirmed the death of the consultant and cameraman on Tuesday, 15 March.
Kuvshynova and Zakrzewski were reporting in Horenka, outside of Ukraine’s capital Kyiv, with correspondent Benjamin Hall when the horrendous incident took place.

The consultant and the cameraman were killed when their vehicle was hit by an incoming fire leaving Benjamin wounded on Monday, 14th March.
Suzanne Scott, CEO of Fox News Media, disclosed the information regarding the journalist’s death and cameraman’s death in a memo.
“Sasha was just 24 years old and was serving as a consultant for us in Ukraine,” the CEO wrote in a memo. Further, she continued, “she was helping crews navigate Kyiv and the surrounding area while gathering information and speaking to sources.”
Kuvshynova was incredibly talented and loved music, arts, and photography and was a joy to work with.
