Brian Sicknick was a US Capitol police officer who died a day after the Capitol riot on January 7, 2021, and the hearing for the Capitol riot is going on.
Officer Sicknick was one of the officers who was protecting the Capitol during the riot which took place on January 6. He was pepper-sprayed by the agitators but washed his face and tried to control the mob.
After one year of an investigation by The House select committee on the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol event, the hearing is taking place on Capitol Hill in Washington.
What Happened To Officer Brian Sicknick?
Officer Brian Sicknick died after he faced the mob during the riot that took place in the US capitol on January 6, 2021.
His death was due to the two strokes he had suffered, and blood clots were the factors that initiated the stroke.
Brian was on the front line defending the US capitol and had collapsed in the process. He was taken to the hospital for immediate care, but his condition deteriorated the hospital on January 7.
Various rumors were circulating on the internet about his death, but he was still on a ventilator. He passed away later at night on January 7. After his death, Capitol police unleashed a statement that stated that his death was due to injuries he had sustained while on duty.
Similarly, the United States Department of Justice also released a statement which also told his death caused by injuries he got while defending the U.S. Capitol, against the violent mob.
Later his death medical examination revealed that his death was due to natural cause, and there was no evidence that he had any injuries.

Officer Brian Sicknick was with his partner Sandra Garza for eleven years. They don’t seem to be married yet. Brian and Sandra had a family with their two four-pawed friends in their home.
Brian and Sandra shared a home in Northern Virginia, and their dogs Pebbles and Sparky were like kids to them. Sandra knew he was in the Capitol, and he also told her that he was pepper-sprayed and had told her he was fine.
Sandra couldn’t believe that Brina had passed away and had a hard time believing that the person she loved had gone forever.
What Was Officer Brian Sicknick Death Cause On Autopsy?
Officer Brian Sicknick was 42 years old when he died on controlling the riot. His death was believed to be due to injuries he had suffered while controlling the mob. But, the medical examination report after the autopsy revelead other things than prior believed reasons.
His autopsy revelead that his death was natural due to the stroke which was caused by the acute brainstem and cerebellar infarcts due to acute basilar artery thrombosis.
It also revelead that the officer didn’t experience an allergic reaction to chemical irritants, and no proof was there which supported his death due to external or internal injuries.
