Nikki Catsouras died at the age of 18 in a tragic accident while driving her father’s Porshe 911 Carrera on October 31, 2006.
Even after being restricted to drive her father’s Porsche, Nikki went on to drive the car and lost her life as the car went out of control due to high speeding.
After the tragic accident, Nikki’s body was not even in the condition to be identified. Her parents filed lawsuit charges against the California Highway Patrol for leaking their daughter’s accident photographs on the internet.
The CHP officers Aaron Reich and Thomas O’Donnell had saved and forwarded the pictures that became disturbing for the Catsouras family.
Who Was Nikki Catsouras?
Nikki Catsouras was a college freshman who lived in Ladera Ranch, California with her parents and her sisters.
Catsouras was a lovely teenager who loved videography and was a bright student in her college. She was loved so much by her parents.
One day when her father found out she was sneaking cigarettes in the house, he snatched her car keys away. Little did he know that it would be the last time he would be talking to his daughter about the house rules.
Porshe Accident – Death Cause And Crash Photos
Nikki’s body had crashed into pieces after the accident and the CHP officers were sued for leaking the crash photos that took over the web in no time.
Toxicological tests found traces of cocaine in Nikki’s body. The Porsche had been destroyed into pieces and the teen’s body was decapitated. when the officers found her.
Earlier that afternoon, Nikki had lunch with her parents in their house and his father went to work. After 10 minutes Catsouras took out her father’s Porsche and then drove away at speed.
Her mother immediately called her husband and he informed 911 to find their daughter. Nikki was driving towards Lake Forest via 241 Toll Road at around 1:38 pm.
The girl was overspeeding at about 160 km per hour when she tried to clip a Honda Civic and the Porsche went uncontrolled towards the toll booth. The Porsche crossed the road’s border and hit the concrete toll booth.
Nikki was found dead on the spot with her body torn into pieces. The photographs of the scenes were taken as a part of the investigation but the officers violated the CHP policy and the next day onwards the photos were everywhere on the Internet.
The Catsouras family was harassed mentally after people started to email their daughter’s disturbing photos to them and so they sued the CHP.

Nikki was the eldest daughter who was only 18 years old before being killed in the tragic accident.
She was a talented teenager who was in her freshman year in college. She was reported to have been subjected to drug addiction which took her life in a gruesome car accident.

Nikki’s father Christos Catsouras was a working man and her mother Lesli Catsouras remained at home in order to look after her daughters. She grew up with her two younger sisters.
The younger sisters were forbidden to use the Internet after Nikki’s photos started to go viral. Her youngest sister Danielle was withdrawn from school to begin homeschooling as the Catsouras parents feared that her friends might mock her using the pictures.
