What Happened To Leclerc Today?
Before a technical problem caused smoke to billow from the back of the Monegasque’s vehicle, he was heading down the front straight. As the team’s reliability woes persist, Leclerc retires for the second time in three races.
On team radio, Leclerc told his race engineer that he thought the problem was an engine failure. Leclerc’s championship prospects have significantly hit after a fantastic strategy maneuver put him in the race lead.
