Malinda Gayle McCready was a country music vocalist from the United States. She was active from 1995 until she died in 2013, and she released five studio albums.
The late music artist McCready’s first four studio albums resulted in twelve Billboard country singles.
This total includes the number one song “Guys Do It All the Time,” as well as the top ten singles “Ten Thousand Angels” and “A Girl’s Gotta Do.”
Her final album with BNA, I’m Not So Tough, was less successful, and she left the label in 1999.
Even though she had not charted a single since 2002, McCready garnered extensive media publicity for her turbulent personal life, suicide attempts, and eventual death by suicide.

According to the singer, her life had become a public shame. On April 9, 2012, McCready gave birth to her second son, Zayne, with music producer David Wilson.
McCready, however, endured another tragedy less than a year after the birth of her son, Zayne.
Wilson, McCready’s two-year lover, died on January 13, 2013, after apparently committing suicide with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
McCready revealed after his death, which became the focus of an ongoing investigation, that he was a gem for her and that she couldn’t handle the loss.
After family members raised concern about McCready’s well-being three weeks later, the singer could not be saved from a horrible end.
On February 17, 2013, McCready’s body was discovered on the porch of her home in the isolated Arkansas hamlet of Heber Springs.
It had been only five weeks before her partner died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. At the time, the singer was 37 years old.

Mccready leaves behind her family, which includes her two boys, Zander and Zayne. She had never married and had given birth to her sons through love affairs.
Mindy had Zander during her first marriage to William Patrick “Billy” McKnight. On May 8, 2005, Billy was arrested and charged with attempted murder after punching and choking her.
Meanwhile, her younger son, Zayne Wilson, was born to record producer David Wilson.
Zander’s father, Billy McKnight, told the Associated Press that he was working with authorities to get his kid out of foster care following the murder of the country singer.
Things appear to be complicated for McCready’s youngest son Zayne. David Wilson, the infant’s father, appears to have committed suicide in January.
Now that both of his parents have died, it is unknown who will look after Zayne, but McCready’s mother could be an option.

On the other hand, Zane Wilson resides in the United States with his family. Billy, his biological father, lives with Zander, his half-brother.
The boys had been through a lot at such a young age, and after months and months of legal fights, they were eventually given the loving homes they needed.
