What Happened To Miguel On This Is Us? Will He Die In The Upcoming Episodes? Explore everything about the cast of This Is Us?
The flashforwards of the forthcoming seasons at the end of seasons 3, 4, and 5 do not feature Miguel Rivas, played by Jon Huertas.
And these events have raised some eyebrows making fans think Rebecca’s husband Miguel is marching near to death in the upcoming episodes.
On September 20, 2016, This Is Us, an American drama television series, that follows the romantic, familial, and professional affairs of the Pearsons and their children in several different time frames premiered on NBC.
Filmed in Los Angeles, the cast incorporates Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Sullivan, Ron Cephas Jones, Jon Huertas, and more.
Apart from these, let’s see why fans are concerned about Miguel and if he is really going to die.
What Happened To Miguel On This Is Us?
The first episode of season 6 of the show premiered on 4 January 2022. And the season has almost come to an end, with its last episode left to release on April 5.
So far, Miguel is alive and seems happy spending time with his grandchildren and Nicky, who has just moved in to live with Miguel and Rebecca.
Though Miguel seems okay, Rebecca, on the other hand, is not. She is facing the initial stage of Alzheimer’s, which has made it hard for her to remember things.
However, the doctors are optimistic about the medicines for Alzheimer’s coming into the market. So, other than her cognitive health, everything is fine between the couple, as we can see Miguel comforting her from time to time when she feels broken.
Rebecca already lost her first husband, Jack, at the beginning of the season and that’s the reason why the flashforward has created an impact on audiences.
But, since the season is on the edge, the guesses about his death might not happen.
Will He Die In The Upcoming Episodes?
We are still unsure about the matter because, until now, Miguel is healthy and happy, and the season has almost come to an end.
But to surprise, when Fogelman was asked about the death possibility of Kate and Miguel, he confessed that it was possible.
He said that there are more surprises and turns in store, and when you don’t show somebody, usually in this show, it’s either for a reveal or for a reason.
By that statement by Fogelman, we believe the upcoming episodes are going to bring something very unusual, but we still don’t know what.
