Although Michael Strahan hasn’t yet returned to the office, he felt good enough to update his “Good Morning America” teammates and viewers on his COVID-19 diagnosis.

The 49-year-old actor said in a video message that aired on Wednesday, “I want to say thank you to everyone for your good wishes and thank you to everyone who reached out and sent me the get-well wishes and all the advice on how to feel better.

Last week, “GMA” revealed that Strahan would be quarantined after testing positive for the new coronavirus. Since January 25, he has not been present in the program.

The former NFL player and the anchor said his current top goals are getting “as much” rest and water as possible to regain his strength so he can return to work after adhering to quarantine guidelines.
