Mercy Kwamboka passed away on 19 March 2022 at the age of 21.
According to Bonface Kamwana, a news presenter at Bibilia Husema Broadcasting Advertising, she returned home on 20 February after her abroad venture.
Some sources report that Mercy was working in a gulf country before her return to Kenya. Looking at her TikTok videos under her account, @jamaxline254, she was in Bahrain, working. After her homecoming, she began the construction of a house for her parents.
Nyamache’s Nancy Kansiime explained Mercy’s situation just before her untimely death. According to her, she complained of coldness before her breathing difficulties worsened.
Mercy had a hard time breathing, and to lessen the uneasiness, she asked for a soda and bread. After that, she said she was feeling well and prompted her family to go to the room.
And on the way, she felt chest pains, which had her rushed to Magena Dispensary. The health institution then referred her to Ogembo sub-county hospital, where she died.
As for the cause, the details remain unknown at present. None of the credible sources have disclosed anything about it. Mercy didn’t have any health conditions before the incident.
Nevertheless, Mercy’s family accuses the witches of Kisii. Her last words to her mother were, “kama wameamua,wameamua,mm nmeenda.”
