The 29-year-old former actress posted the incident about her accident on Sunday on her Instagram account. Posting from her home, she mentioned all the details about what had happened.
Melissa further mentioned there were no taxis and no X-Ray units open at the nearby clinics on weekends. She needed an X-Ray as she could not bear to put weight on her ankle and could not walk properly.
In an update, she shared a selfie of herself in the back of a car the next day, revealing that she had had to drive to the hospital. After visiting the hospital, Suffield informed her fans that she had no bone injuries, but the ankle swelled.
She further mentioned that she had to take rest, and the doctor told her she could walk normally only after four weeks of rest. Currently, she is keeping her swollen ankle cool away from the heat and taking a rest.
