Malawi24.com reported that the rapper, Martin Martse Nkhata died today in Blantyre’s Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital, where he was being treated.
On Friday, the musician was burnt in Mangochi when the place he was resting caught fire. Presidential Advisor on Youth and Arts Lucius Banda had stated that the government will support artist Martse.
“I was shocked to read of the tragic situation involving one of our Artists, Martse. “I pray to God that he recovers quickly,” Lucius said on his Facebook page.
“On behalf of the government, I should inform the family that we are prepared to come in if anything is advised for him beyond what is currently being done at our hospital.” Martse has our support throughout this tough moment.”
The “Go Deeper” actor was undergoing treatment at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre after being transported from Mangochi.
According to rumors, the artist’s bed and breakfast in Monkey Bay caught fire. On Saturday, images of Martse on his sickbed were extensively circulated on social media sites.
On social media, musicians and fans who support Martse were praying for his rapid recovery when he left behind his followers in sorrow.
People are paying tributes to the singer on social media, who died too soon. “He wasn’t only a musician. He was a performer. He preached HipHop, lived HipHop, and his music will be remembered for generations,” Mikozi Network worte.
