Neulander was a native of Syracuse New York. She lived with her Doctor husband Robert Neulander, a famous gynecologist, in her community and her children. She had dedicated her life to community work and was a member of different local organizations.
Suddenly, one-day Neulander’s daughter Jenna Neulander had called 911, telling the authorities that her mother needed medical help after falling in the shower. She described that her father had yelled for help discovering Leslie bleeding in the bathroom.
After the arrival of the paramedics, Leslie was announced dead at the scene. Initially, her death was deemed an accident.
