As her mother died in a car accident, Layla was left alone in a massive mansion with no one who would love and care for her. Moreover, when she lost her mom, her dad was busy living a new life in New York and had a young girlfriend, Chynna.
JP stuck on his daughter’s life when he found out that she attempted suicide in the same place his late wife tried to take her life. He felt sorry and apologized to Keating for not being there, and they mended things.
