What Happened to Kylo Ren in Star Wars: The Force Awakens?
When Kylo Ren destroyed the artifact, Rey became furious and attacked him. However, their fight ended badly when Leia used her last might to contact her son in the Force. While Kylo was preoccupied, Rey instantly stabbed him with his lightsaber and wounded him.

- Kylo can detect even the slightest changes in the Force. Kylo Ren is extraordinarily sensitive to variations in the amount of light and dark in his immediate surroundings. He is also compassionate toward the change force.
Relationship between Kylo Ren and Rey
The director, Rian Johnson of The Last Jedi, says that Rey and Kylo Ren’s relationship in the sequels is romantic.
Kylo Ren and Rey debuted in 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Rey is the romantic interest of Kylo Ren, the main antagonist who subsequently becomes the hero in the sequel trilogy.
They continued their personal and group journeys in the following two films, culminating in the duo joining up against Emperor Palpatine in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
