Kristi’s mother Patti Capel demised on Christmas Day at the age of 67. She said that her mom was privately battling cancer for a while. They only came to know about a week before the holiday that the tumor had spread around her lungs.
Moreover, the family was able to celebrate one last Christmas with their late mother. Kristi wrote on Facebook saying, “It’s hard to imagine her not loving on my kids, decorating Christmas trees with her, or baking with the kids, one of her favorite things to do.”
Capel further added, “It’s hard to imagine going back to work and going to call my mom after the show and realize the reality.” She said her mom was the “most perfect mom and grandmother”.
