Actress Kailia Posey passed away committing suicide. The Medical Examiners’ office had confirmed that she died from asphyxia due to ligature hanging. She was found deceased in Blaine, Washington.
A day before her death on May 1, Posey had taken the family car after her mom left for the store and she never returned.
Her mother had confirmed the news on her Facebook, she wrote: “I’m at a loss for words and ideas. A lovely little girl has passed away. Please respect our privacy while we mourn Kailia’s passing. Forever, my child “.
The 16-year-old had left a note to her mother before she died by suicide. The note said that she loved her mother and brother was her best friend. The actress also wrote sorry on the note and had ordered a blanket for her mother, which arrived two weeks after her death.
Her words were: “Dear Mom, even when I’m not close by, I want you to know I love and appreciate you. Always. Wrap yourself up in this and consider it a big hug. I love you,”
Posey seemed very fine days and weeks before her death. She had recently become the second runner-up in the 2022 Miss Washington Teen USA.

As per the sources, Kailia Posey was dating a guy whose identity is unknown at the moment. The teenager had committed suicide three days after her high school prom. Nevertheless, her suicide was not connected to relationship failure or problems.
The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office believes that Posey was suffering from mental health. They have further withheld sharing details on the Internet because the information will not be legitimate to the public.
Poseys’ family has established a fund in her name with the Whatcom Community Foundation. The charity aims to help students with crises. They have also said that the actress had a love for aviation and wanted to pursue her career as a pilot as well.
