Why Does Kadarius Toney Not Have Eyebrows?

Kadarius Toney does not have eyebrows after he shaved them off more than two years ago.

Hundreds of sports stars have no eyebrows and eyelashes. British cyclist Joanna Rowsell, Premier League footballer Jonjo Shelvey, former international football referee Pierluigi Collina, NBA basketball player Charlie Villanueva, and former rugby player Craig Gillies are names of some of the athletes.

However, their lack of eyebrows is caused by Alopecia Areata.

By the time she was 11 years old, Joanna Rowsell had lost both her eyebrows and had developed an extreme form of alopecia areata.

Since Kadarius still retains a head full of hair, he is likely not a victim of the autoimmune condition.

Does Kadarius Toney Shave His Eyebrows?

Kadarius Toney shaves his eyebrows, and for those who buy brow gel and shape it up into perfection before going out, this is hard to understand.

He is one of many athletes who have shaved his eyebrows.

Julius Randle, an American professional basketball player for the New York Knicks, likewise removed his eyebrows and is now an all-star.

After seeing Toney’s lack of eyebrows, one Reddit user commented, “Just like I’ve always said, eyebrows, who needs em.”

According to another fan, Kadarius shaved his eyebrows so defensive backs couldn’t read his eyes.

While others have decided he looks 35+ with no eyebrows, others believe it’s a new look.

And then there is another group of Reddit users who joked that it’s to reduce wind resistance.

“The man shaved ’em off to cut down on wind resistance. Commitment.”
