What Happened To Joy Behar On The View Today? Fall Caught On Camera
On Thursday morning, Joy Behar had a bit of a fright when she passed out on her entry onto the set of “The View.”
The 79-year-old comedian was coming out onstage at the beginning of the live event when she fell just short of her seat.
Behar was seen on camera face-planting on the stage, and the dramatic image was broadcast to audiences throughout the country.
The women poured out in a line, as usual, and took their seats. Behar did make it to the table, but she fell as she attempted to sit down.
The other hosts quickly approached her and assisted her in standing up, with crew personnel joining them on stage. Behar recounted what transpired in the brief encounter when she had settled into her seat.
“I went flying,” she said and then laughed about it. Fortunately for Behar, she isn’t the first TV star who has fallen asleep in front of a live audience.
Ryan Seacrest fell backward and onto the ground while attempting to grab a golden balloon on a January 2020 broadcast of Live With Kelly and Ryan.
Joy Behar Illness Details Explored – Health Update
Fortunately, the host suffered no severe injuries and is currently doing well. Behar was not seriously hurt and was allowed to continue hosting the show.
When the event occurred, she did not appear to be in pain and instead made a joke out of her tumble.
To get back on her feet, Behar required the assistance of Haines and Hostin, as well as a production assistant who ran onstage for extra support.
Sara Haines, 44, and Sunny Hostin, 53, were heard gasping before attempting to assist Behar in getting up.
Nonetheless, in 2020, Joy Behar took a break from co-hosting “The View” as a preventive step due to rising worries about a new coronavirus epidemic.
After receiving a sobering phone call from her daughter encouraging her to avoid overexposing herself to the public, the long-time co-host opted to stay at home for a while.
