John Tesh was suffering from an illness called prostate cancer.

The first was six years ago when he got diagnosed with the illness. At the time of the diagnosis, the doctors gave him an ultimatum of 18 months. However, John reversed the disease and survived with the help of his wife, Connie Sellecca.
