American podcaster Joe Rogan was the subject of yet another death hoax on Twitter.
The same thing occurred in 2006 when it was believed that singer James Brown had passed away, but thanks to the catchy melody by L.A. Style, no one took it seriously. Joe Rogan experienced a similar issue when rumors of his demise circulated on Twitter.
The now-deleted message went viral on the internet, sparking speculation over whether the host of The Joe Rogan Experience was deceased.
What Happened To Joe Rogan? Dead or Alive
According to Newsweek, fake news that Joe Rogan had passed away caused a social media storm.
A post from the Twitter account @joeroganhq signaled the start of the death hoax “We are saddened to announce the passing of Joe Rogan. He had died peacefully in his home this afternoon; we will provide more details concerning his family’s wishes as they arrive.”
The death hoax included fabricated quotes from Dana White, the president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), and a screenshot of a fake tweet expressing sympathy for Rogan’s family.
With a clever response, Joe Rogan announced his pregnancy on his official Twitter account, showing that he is not taking this issue seriously.
Most likely because Rogan, 54, was the target of an ongoing internet prank that claimed the former Fear Factor host and the occasional comic was deceased. Rogan is still alive, which is good news for fans and bad news for detractors.
The hashtag “#RIPJoeRogan,” particularly on Twitter, has been used in conjunction with multiple instances of users on social media either claiming or actually falling for death hoaxes with Rogan over the years, according to the platform.
Even though it was a well-known hoax, fans and social media users were still making jokes about the ridiculous subject.
Rogan is no stranger to trolling. The podcaster has heard stories about several guests who might appear on his show, including Donald Trump, but such rumors pale in comparison to the deception surrounding his death.
As Newsweek pointed out, this is not the first time a Joe Rogan death hoax has caused a stir online. Rogan is very much alive. More specifically, the first hoax appeared in 2010, and many have occurred ever since.
Even though Rogan’s fake death news had been widely circulated and the world was aware of this type of death hoax, some people were still talking on Twitter, causing the internet to melt.
The recent death hoax caused a lot of controversies and shocked podcast listeners all across the world. Even though he didn’t take the situation too seriously, false claims from other sources, particularly on Twitter, kept the story in the news. Some fans, and even some celebrities, were shocked after hearing the news.
But ultimately, Joe Rogan is still alive and has resumed his podcast show.
Where Is Joe Rogan Now? Death Hoax Debunked!
The 54-year-old is best known for his podcast, The Joe Regan Experience, on which he discusses various current topics with guests.
The Joe Rogan Experience podcast is back, and Rogan is still very much alive.
The commentator, used to controversy, recently asserted that he had turned down the invitation to have Donald Trump, the former president, appear on his podcast on Spotify.
Joe described Trump as being incredibly divisive and dangerous to democracy in a talk with Lex; hence Joe didn’t want him on his podcasts.
Similarly, a UFC commentator has asked Canadians to remove Prime Minister Justin Trudeau amid allegations that their country is transforming into a communist state run by a “dictator.”
Before his most recent death hoax, Rogan announced that he would end his podcast because he had felt like he had to “walk on eggshells.” However, it turned out that he is still actively involved in the podcast and shows no signs of quitting; thus, this was also untrue.
On the Joe Rogan Experience, Joe Rogan praised Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, calling his work admirable and highlighting the significant influence he thought he had on the state.
As a result, The Joe Rogan Experience and its host are still active and often release some entertaining episodes.
