Ernie Sigmon is a Mechanicsville man whose body has recovered by officers on June 20, 2022. He has reported a concerned citizen from Choptank River in Dorchester Country.
Sigmon was a missing person for six months whose body has found in Dorchester County. He got missed from his boat on December 29, 2022. His family has gathered the troop praying to the Lord for his return on January 7, 2022.

Ernie Sigmon Body Found – What Happened To Him?
Sigmon’s body has finally found after 173 days of searching. On June 20, 2022, the body has discovered in the Choptank River in Dorchester County. This Monday, the dead body has recovered by the police. However, the investigation of the case is going on.
In December 2021, the ship the Sigmon had found, but there was no trace of him. So, the troops conducted the search for around six months which finally led to the death. During the inquiry, they used sonar technology to find Sigmon underwater.
After an examination of six months, the authorities have recovered the missing body. They had found the part on Monday morning around 11:00 am. The police got the call from a citizen of the Choptank about the deceased body they found in the river.
Further, the officer has inspected more detail of the case and knows about the victim. On December 29, the matter got reported to the Maryland Natural Resources Police. Later, they responded to the search at 6:15 pm.
After the officer arrived at the Chesapeake Bay off of Plum Point, they analyzed the 25ft open 252 Sportsman’s vessel, and at the same time, Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Deputies took out of the boat. Sigmon was traveling to the circles in Calvert County. And has no information about his life during that period.
It has got reported Sigmon has gone fishing at 1 pm in the county, and people have noticed him after two hours. After that, he got missing from the boat and left no clue about his disappearance.

Sigmon’s cause of death seemed to be falling from the boat while fishing. The fisherman has got missing from the vessel since December. Later he got spotted on the Choptank River and reported by the residents.
