What Happened To Doughboy From Street Outlaws -Where Is He Now? Missing From The Show!

Doughboy, AKA Josh Day, is a member of the reality television show Street Outlaws: Memphis and the son of lead cast member JJ Da Boss.

Street Outlaws is a street racing documentary/reality series that airs on Discovery Channel. The show is about the fastest street cars in America, the racing, and the family and friends behind the cars.

Street Outlaws: Memphis is a spinoff of Discovery’s Street Outlaws and follows the fast-talking, bet-taking JJ Da Boss and his family and friends as they go about their underground racing business. The cast has ruled the scene for decades, but sometimes their pride and honor come to clash with JJ’s hustling.

The show has five seasons, and Doughboy has been a highlight for all of them. However, recently, fans have noticed that Doughboy has not appeared on screen for the latest episodes.

His absence from the show has sparked many rumors ranging from legal issues to injuries to even death.

Though many have labeled the show fake or an over-exaggeration of the world of street racing, there have been enough deaths in the show to warrant worry whenever a cast member disappears.

Perhaps the two most memorable events of Street Outlaw’s history have been deaths. At least two cast members of the show have died- the first was Tyler Priddy, also known as Flip, who died in a car accident before the show’s first season, although he had already finished filming it. The second was Christopher Ellis, whose death was out of the road as a heroin overdose.

What Happened To Doughboy From Street Outlaws -Is He Sick?

Doughboy’s father, JJ Da Boss, has reportedly stated that the young driver has an injured disc on his back.

Fans flocked to his social media following his disappearance, but as he’s not much of a social media user (his last post on Instagram was on April 23, 2019), it wasn’t much help.

This injury is not the first time Doughboy has been in an accident, and in the “Put Your Life on the Line,” the first episode of the second season, Doughboy muses on his fear of returning to racing after a devastating crash. With this injured disc situation, Doughboy is probably considering his options again.

Street racing is a hazardous business as the show makes very clean, and the cast goes through many safety precautions to ensure that nobody gets hurt during filming. Still, a lack of any news from Doughboy himself exacerbated the situation and made people think he was in a much more severe position than he was in.

Hopefully, we get to see Doughboy return on screen soon.

Doughboy’s Injury And Health Update -Where Is He Now?

Doughboy, nor anyone from the cast, has spoken up about his health besides the initial news of his injured disc.

A herniated disc usually takes about six months to go away on its own, and it stands to reason that Doughboy will be out of the show for about that long, perhaps more, to rest up and heal fully.

However, many fans doubt his injuries after a Redditor mentioned that he is not currently on the show because of some legal issues. Though these legal issues have not been revealed, many other individuals claimed the same on different social media platforms.

It’s a matter of speculation whether these people are actually telling the truth or repeating what the initial Redditor said. In the initial post, to ease any doubts about his claim, the Redditor stated that Doughboy’s wife was still on the show because she is Precious’s sister.

Precious Cooper is perhaps the fiercest driver on Street Outlaws: Memphis, and her sister, Chelsea Cooper, has been married to Doughboy since 2015.

Since Doughboy is Missing From The Show Meet The Rest Of The Street Outlaws Cast

Though Doughboy is a popular member of the Street Outlaws: Memphis cast, he is not the only beloved one.

The show is led by JJ Da Boss, who loves muscle cars. He grew up racing the streets in his native Memphis area and Arkansas. JJ Da Boss is the leader of this ragtag group of fast-talking hustlers.

Precious is arguably the best driver in the show and is called the mean-talking queen of the streets on the Memphis crew. Like JJ Da Boss, she grew up in the world of street racing.

Tricia, aka Midget, is a racer with a small stature but a very respectable team member. She is married to the team leader JJ Da Boss.

Jeff Fames is another driver who has been racing from a young age. He has been best friends with JJ Da Boss since they were young, and he prides himself for being able to go down roads others can’t.

Brian Britt is the most competitive member of the Memphis crew and is convinced he possesses the fastest car on the street. He has been racing since he was in high school.

Many other drivers make up the rag-tag bunch that is the crew of the Street Outlaws: Memphis crew. Together they rule the streets of Memphis, kicking butt and taking names.
