Devin Durnen, age 21, died as a result of an unusual accident. He was reportedly at the Aztec motor cross track when he got struck.

He was initially alert, but after being placed in the flight for life, he began to have convulsions and lost the battle. Since this was Devin’s second race, it was claimed that he had just begun competing.

A GoFundMe fundraiser named “Devin Durnen celebration of life” is being organized by Laurie Marusak. The page was created to support and aid Derek at this unforeseen time of need.

Devin was described by Laurie as having a constant smile, being upbeat and full of life, loving country music, and enjoying time spent riding with his pals.

The $10,000 goal was reached in under four hours after the fundraiser was launched with 12,673 donations.
