UNO Student, Ciaya Jordan’s death seems to be mysterious, and the investigation is ongoing.
A young college student, Ciaya Jordan was reportedly dropped off dead at a local hospital after taking an Uber home from a night out. Just the day before her death, she was having fun with her friends.
She had a long night on Friday, attending Carnival parades in Metairie then went to the bar followed by visiting her boyfriend and checking up on her dog. However, her roommate tried to stop her from going out.

Ciaya Jordan death has been a mystery till now. Her obituary has not been shared publicly yet. The UNO student died after taking an uber. She was taken to New Orleans hospital on Saturday.
According to NOPD, police received a call of a woman arriving at the hospital around 6:45 am on Saturday, 19 February 2022. She was pronounced dead upon her arrival at the hospital.
Her co-worker, Dawn Genenheimer identified her. She said, Ciaya took uber at 1 am and since then she was out of contact till she was brought to the hospital. Police are investigating the case.
The student’s roommate confirmed that she came to the apartment in the night to check on her dog, Zoe, at her Lakeshore Drive apartment in Gentilly but, she left, despite her friend stopping her not to go out.
