State’s first ‘First Husband’, Chuck Hunt, dies at the age of 67 following the complications after kidney transplant.
Chuck Hunt was better known as the husband of Jane Swift, the former governor of Massachusetts.
Swift was appointed as the lieutenant governor in 1999 but after the governor was transferred to another position, she became the acting governor for around two years.
As she took over the throne of the governor, her spouse, Hunt, became recognized as the state’s first ‘First Husband’.
It was during this time, around three years, that Chuck gained recognition.
Boston Globe now reports that the man is no more after he passed away due to health complications at his home.
Many news sources, as well as other personalities, expressed their heartfelt condolences towards the late man as they mourned his demise.

Who Was Chuck Hunt?
Chuck Hunt was an American senior pastor and the husband of the former acting governor, Jane Swift.
He devoted himself to religious activities and was involved in spreading valuable beliefs among the young ones during the late phase of his life.
Chuck had a construction business when the couple rose to popularity back in 2001.
As the pastor at Lake Ave Church, Chuck used to conduct various religious acts and counseling.

Chuck Hunt’s death cause was the kidney complications that he had after undergoing a kidney transplant in 2018.
He was born with a kidney disease named Alport Syndrome.
Even though he lived most of his life with this disorder, it started becoming difficult during 2018 and his kidney was to be changed.
While it was a successful kidney transplant, he started facing further problems from the surgery in 2020.
He was even hospitalized for a month for it.
Now the reports say that Hunt passed away from similar intricacies at his home, surrounded by his family.

Chuck Hunt was survived by his wife, Jane Swift, and their three children.
Hunt and his partner, Swift, tied the knot back in 1994 and remained married for more than a quarter of a century.
Jane was not his first wife though since he was previously together with someone else and also had a son named Brian, who died in 2014.
He had three daughters, Elizabeth, Lauren, and Sarah, with the former acting governor.
All of them used to live together in their family house in Williamstown.
