After an EF-3 tornado inflicted major structural damage to the structure on Friday, at least six people died when the Amazon warehouse building collapsed.
Austin Mcewen was one of the Amazon employees that were found deceased.
In like manner, the other Amazon workers named as deceased by the county coroner were Deandre S. Morroe, 28-years old of St. Louis, Missouri; Kevin D. Dickey, 62-years-old of Carlyle, Illinois; Clayton Lynn Cope, 29-years-old of Alton, Illinois; Etheria S. Hebb 24-years-old of St. Louis, Missouri; and Larry E. Virden, 46-years-old of Collinsville, Illinois.
After getting emergency notifications on their mobile phones from local authorities, Amazon supervisors advised some employees to seek refuge in restrooms.
According to firefighters and the governor of Illinois, the first tornado warning was issued around 40 minutes before the tornado struck.
Some of those employees said they had maintained their phones despite an Amazon policy prohibiting them from using them at work. Employees and drivers are authorized to use their telephones, responded by the company.

Austin McEwell was one of six workers killed when their business in Edwardsville, Illinois, collapsed under the weight of the storm on Sunday.
As per a coworker, he died in an Amazon.com warehouse restroom while attempting to flee a severe tornado on Friday night. Austin arrived five minutes after the storm hit the facility, and the structure had already been demolished at that time.

Who is Austin McEwen?
Austin McEwen was an Amazon cargo driver. He was an only child who enjoyed hunting with his pal and listening to rapper Mac Miller.
Following the awful accident, the company expressed its sorrow and grief for the victims. Austin is one of them, and a Gofundme website has been set up to help him and his family.
His relatives and friends regarded him as a lovely spirit with a captivating charm.
