Jodi Applegate is an American broadcast journalist who was born on May 2, 1964. She worked as an anchorwoman for local stations as well as MSNBC and NBC News on a national level.
Applegate was raised in an Irish American Catholic household in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh.
Applegate graduated from Moon Area High School in 1982. She attended Temple University in Philadelphia for her freshman year.
