What Does Chobblesome Mean? New Episode of Hermitcraft The Broken Bridge Introduces A New Concept

Since the start of Hermitcraft’s sixth season in July 2018, Minecraft YouTuber Grian has become a member and contributor to the whitelisted server.

Grian created the term “chobblesome” in the 14th episode of season 9, which was released online yesterday (June 23, 2022), and its definition perplexed some of his other players as well as his supporters. Numerous Minecraft vocabulary lists and glossaries have been published as a result of the game’s ubiquity and appeal among people of all ages.

Others are acronyms (like “TBH” or “FTW”); some are adaptations of earlier phrases (like the word “because” meaning “because of,” as in the procedure works because science, notice the absence of a preposition); Some new terms, like covid-related terminology (consider super-spreader and vaccine passport), become new words when people start using them often.

Chobblesome Urban Dictionary Meaning Hermitcraft

“Chobblesome” is now listed on Wikipedia and Urban Dictionary, according to several discussions on the topic on Reddit. However, neither the English-language Wikipedia nor the Dutch Wikipedia no longer has any entries for the term.

However, it does seem to have existed for a brief period of time in Dutch. The first description of the Wikipedia page’s construction by several individuals who left comments on a Reddit discussion on the subject was, you guessed it, chobblesome.

Additionally, it is awaiting clearance on Urban Dictionary. Notably, the Reddit post announcing the information was taken down from the website – if not permanently – for violating the forum’s seventh rule, which reads, Do not spoil Grian’s new movies within the previous two days.

So, broad and established use appears to be a need. Therefore, more individuals need to use it over a longer period of time in order for the definition of “chobblesome” to be officially recorded.

The Broken Bridge Episode Explained

Grian first uses the phrase “chobblesome” in Hermitcraft’s Season 9 Episode 14, “The Broken Bridge.” As an adjective with a meaning akin to “noteworthy” or “exceptional,” he defines “chobblesome” as “something to be pleasantly remarked about.”

Grian continues by describing how chobby his base is. He then says it to Beef, a fellow Minecraft YouTuber (or VintageBeef). Hearing it makes Rendog (or Ren for short) suspicious. Impulse accepts it without hesitation. It’s a classic Hermitcraft episode.

Grian Fans Attached To Chobblesome And Its Meaning

It is chobblesome in and of itself that chobblesome is now essentially a term. This is a Reddit user’s hot take in a comment on a post in the r/grian forum. Another person comments, that it’s excellent since that’s a phrase that deserves a name. And I don’t believe one did prior to today. If I’ve ever heard any choppy news, it is it.

However, as a third user points out, the definition of chobblesome, which is to be worthy of debate, is quite similar to the definition of “noteworthy” or “remarkable.” Both terms refer to anything that deserves discussion and is worthy of attention or comment. Nevertheless, a moment has been caught. Grian states in the video, that he adores your base. It’s quite choppy. The response from Impulse is, he knows.
