Timothy Olyphant is a well-known Hollywood actor, with many roles that have earned him the respect of movie lovers all over the world. His wife Alexis Knief, is a very private woman who does not often take part in the glitz and glamour of Tinseltown.
Not much is known about her despite her husband being a big star – Timothy himself doesn’t spend a lot of time in the limelight either. The two of them have been married for almost three decades and have three children together. They currently live in Los Angeles.
Early life and family
Alexis was born on the 1st of January 1970, in the United States. Not much else has been disclosed about her early life and family. She keeps her personal information so private that no one even knows what her parents’ names are, or if she has any siblings.
Educational background
Once again, this kind of information about Alexis is very rare, but thanks to her relationship with Timothy, we know she attended the University of Southern California, as this is where the two of them met, and it’s believed where their romance started.
The couple is said to have been sweethearts at university who later went on to get married, true soulmates. It is not known what kind of degree Alexis obtained at the university.
Career
As far as anyone knows, Alexis is a housewife and mother to her and Timothy’s children. But it is quite possible that she has a business or entrepreneurial undertaking that she keeps private, like she does most of her life.
Hobbies, favourite things and interesting facts
Unfortunately, we do not know much about what Alexis does in her free time, who she really is as a person or what her favourite things are. She does an excellent job of being a woman of mystery.
Who is Timothy Olyphant?
Timothy is an actor – and a producer of movies – and is well-known for his many roles over the years. He was born in Hawaii but moved to California with his family when he was two years old.
He starred in the popular TV show ‘Deadwood’ as well as ‘Justified’ and ‘The Santa Clarita Diet’. His acting in ‘The Crazies’, ‘Catch and Release’ and ‘Rango’ also earned him admiration from fans. He is considered a successful entertainer who is laid-back and very friendly.
Relationship with Timothy
After dating for some time, Timothy popped the question – how and when is unknown – these two really know how to keep people guessing.
When they do make public appearances though, they are admired for their apparently loving relationship, with many people thinking that the couple is a counter example to so many failed relationships in Hollywood. They married at a private event in 1991 and have apparently had their ups and downs, but they will soon celebrate their 30th anniversary.
Timothy once attributed their successful marriage to choosing the right person and being willing to ‘do the work’.
It has been noticed that Timothy wears his wedding band on his right hand rather than the left one, which has led to people thinking that there is trouble in paradise. However, it turns out that he just prefers to wear his ring on the right hand.
The Divorce Joke
Timothy once made a joke about leaving his wife, should he win the Emmy Award that he was nominated for, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his role in ‘Justified’. The award was scooped up by Kyle Chandler for his work on ‘Friday Night Lights’.
Timothy once said that his joke was actually Alexis’ idea, and this shows the kind of relationship they have – one that is filled with jokes and humour.
Children
The pair are parents to three children – the eldest, Grace Katherine, was born on 20 June 1999, they then had a son, Henry two years later, and their third child, Vivian was born in 2003. Timothy has previously praised Alexis for being very supportive and intelligent, and enjoys spending time with her and their kids.
