What did Kaalan Walker do?

Kaalan Walker, a 27-year-old rapper from Los Angeles, was sentenced Monday to 50 years to life in prison after being convicted of sexually assaulting seven victims, three of whom were minors.

According to City News Service, Kaalan Walker was also ordered to register as a lifetime sex offender for a series of crimes dating back to 2013.

On April 18, 2022, a Van Nuys jury found the performer guilty of three counts of forcible rape, two counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, two counts of rape of an intoxicated victim, and one count of assault with intent to commit oral copulation.

According to City News Service, Deputy District Attorney Cynthia Wallace believes Walker is a “true predator” for his assaults on young women and teenagers between 2013 and 2018.

Walker found his victims on Instagram and Twitter, often aspiring models and actresses, and lured them to locations by claiming to have booked them for photo shoots and music video productions that never happened.

Instead, prosecutors claim that the rapper raped and assaulted the women and underage girls. Walker was arrested and released on bond in September 2018. He was arrested again after being found guilty.
