Well that was the exact case scenario for Chris Rock who was slapped at the stage by none other than Will Smith, who bagged this years Oscars for Best Male Actor for the role in King Richard.
This years Academy Awards surely had a brief moment of silence, when Will who was just laughing at the joke a moment prior walked to the stage to punish Chris for what he said about Jade Pinkett.
What Did Chris Rock Say About Jada Pinkett?
While having his session of host at the Oscars Academy Award, Chris Rock made a joke about Will Smith’s wife Jde Pinkett.
Chris was mocking around the names of Oscar nominees for this years Best Male Actor Awards and he joked about Javier Bardem, the Oscars winner for No Country For Old Men, a thriller classic.
Chris Rock made a joke about Javier Bardem stating that since both him and his wife were nominated for the Oscars this year, one can’t win if the other loses.
While the pair present at the ceremony were taking their bite of the laugh dose, Chris added that Javier must be wishing for Will to win.
The topic of Will’s wife was just a addition to the persistent joke as the crew were still having a good share of laughter.
Chris added that Jade Pinkett should be in GI Jane for her bald hair.
This was not taken lightly by Will as Jade had previously stated publicly that she is having a hair loss problem with alopecia.
