Wednesday Has Many Suspects and Xavier Is One Of Them, Is He Really The Monster?

Wednesday Addams on Netflix’s Wednesday suspects Xavier as the Hyde monster but no, he is not the monster.

The latest adaptation of The Addams Family, directed by Tim Burton, is available on Netflix. Wednesday Addam is the focus of the series, which stars Scream actress Jenna Ortega. It’s advertised as a coming-of-age spooky mystery comedy set at Nevermore Academy.

Wednesday, the main character, is sent to the school Nevermore. She dislikes her new school immediately until she becomes involved in a perplexing case in which a mystery monster has been attacking people in Nevermore and the neighboring town of Jericho.

In the series, the monster is called Hyde. Hyde is a powerful monster that requires the assistance of a master to unleash its powers and control it. Continue reading to find out who the Hyde monster is in the series.

Is Xavier The Monster In Wednesday?

Xavier was the major suspect as the monster in the series Wednesday and there are several reasons for it.

Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) learns psychic artist Xavier has been making drawings of the moon-eyed creature while gathering data concerning the Hyde monster.

This causes Wednesday to believe that Xavier knows much more about the monster than he has revealed, and that he may even be the monster. “How did you figure out what the monster looks like?” Wednesday asks Xavier.

Xavier defended himself by saying, “This creature has been haunting my nightmares for the past two weeks. I try to ignore it, but I can’t. So I just came in here and started painting. When I was painting this one, the claws stretched out and swiped at me. That’s how I acquired these marks.”

Wednesday doubted Xavier was the monster, but that was not the case. Xavier was not lying about his identity; however, the “evidence” provided by Wednesday leads to Xavier’s arrest for the murder of six “normies” in the woods outside the school grounds.

The true Hyde monster continued to terrorize the town as a result of this case of mistaken identity.

Hunter Doohan aka Tyler Gaplin Is The Monster In Wednesday

Tyler Galpin, portrayed by Hunter Doohan, is the monster known as Hyde in the series.

Galpin, it turns out, is a two-faced monster with a secret life carefully planned to hide his hyde. Although our horrible Hyde managed to keep his huge secret from Wednesday for a short time, he may not have done so well with audiences.

Tyler also knows too much about everyone and everything. Even though Crackstone’s destroyed cabin has vanished from the town’s radar and is now occupied by squatters, he knows exactly where it is.

When he and Wednesday were trying to hide from hunting hounds in the woods, he used coffee grounds to conceal their scent—an arcane technique he claims to be familiar with because he goes “deer hunting.”

He’s also always present when the hyde is released. No matter where Wednesday finds the hyde, it’s a certain conclusion that Tyler was nearby.

Tyler was always with her, whether it was on their carnival date in the first episode or their break-in into the Gates’ old home in episode six, and so was the hyde, however never at the same time. And it’s possible that was his biggest giveaway.
