Mr. Sarawagi claims that on July 5, Maridhas posted a video on his YouTube channel alleging that the television channel ‘News 18 Tamilnadu’ has been running an anti-Hinduism campaign for the past four years.
LAST MONTH, the CCB filed an FIR under sections 465, 469, 471, and 66 (B) r/w 43 of the IT Act, naming ‘unknown fake mail creator’ as the accused.
Maridhas went on to say that the channel was run by Dravidar Kazhagam (DK) or Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) supporters who were actively pursuing an anti-Hindu agenda in Tamil Nadu.
In the video, he encouraged Hindus to send emails to our company/channel with the same false and baseless allegations, according to Mr. Sarawagi’s complaint.
According to Mr. Sarawagi, 2,500 people emailed their company/channel with similar false and baseless allegations received at the Chennai office.
