Famous hairstylist Jawed Habib from India has been criticized for allegedly spitting on a woman during a haircutting event in Muzaffarnagar. The complaint has been filed in Mansurpur police station.
Jawed Habib has a long history of hairdressers in the family. His grandfather Nazir Ahmed served as the official hairdresser for Lord Linlithgow, Lord Mountbatten, and Jawaharlal Nehru.
His father, Habib Ahmed, has also worked for the President of India at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
According to police officials, Jawed Habib was the chief guest in a private event on hair care was organized in Muzaffarnagar’s King Villa Hotel four days ago.

Mr Habib later apologized but said that the act was done to add “humour” to the lengthy session.
The hairdresser can be seen spitting on a woman’s head while giving her a haircut in the video.
Following a complaint at Mansurpur police station, a First Information Report has been filed under Sections 355 (assault) and 504 (causing hurt) of the Indian Penal Code and relevant sections of the Epidemic Act.
