The TikTok “Jerk Dance” of Austin Lemay, a Tenaya Middle School teacher, has gone viral. His video on social media platforms has gotten a lot of attention because of his dance move.
This week, @tenayas_msjenny a TikTok user, shared a video that went viral.
Mr. Lemay, an American high school teacher, amazes his students by dancing in the school playground in the footage. Mr. Lemay swoops in and tells the students precisely how to execute the iconic ‘Jerk’ dance move after they attempt (and fail) to accomplish it.
Surprisingly, the video has been seen over 27 million times on TikTok, with many fans applauding the teacher on his rhythm.
Following that, Mr. Lemay, a lead instructor, and campus culture director stated that while he did not want for the video to become viral, he is “not upset” that it did.

The jerk dance is a street dancing routine that includes crossing your wrists in front of your chest and has been popular for over a decade.
Further, the song ‘You’re a Jerk,‘ which is used in the viral TikTok video, was released in 2009 by the hip-hop group New Boyz.
People on TikTok are completely impressed with the video and have been commenting on it.
