Nine years after their wedding, Marjorie and Josh co-founded Harris Philanthropies with aims to improve the lives of youths through sports and education. She was previously an employee at Citibank for a decade before she left the corporate world to take care of her home.

Josh Harris group members are Mitchell Rales, Magic Johnson, Mark Ein and fourteen other limited partners. The proposal submitted to Washington Commanders shows Harris owning 30% with 70% divided over seventeen partners.

Josh Harris wedding to Marjorie Harris took place in 1995. They have been married for 28 years.
Twenty-two years after their wedding, they bought a home for $45 million on the Upper East Side of New York. The family moved into the 21,070-square-foot mansion and occupied all seven floors.
Josh Harris and Marjorie Harris became parents for the first time with the birth of their daughter Hannah Harris in New York. Four babies followed suit soon after.
Marjorie is one of two children of Lillian Rubin and Albert Rubin. Her parents were married for fifty-four years before her dad passed away in 2012. Albert worked in the Packaging Industry for forty-five years. She grew up with brother Philip Rubin, who shares kids Jesse, Lucy, and Ella Rubin with Mardi Schecter.

Josh and Marjorie were invited to the Allied Marine Yacht Hop In Sag Harbor event in June 2019 at Sag Harbor Cove Marina. While Marjorie looked beautiful in a white summer dress with a checkered shirt thrown on the top, Joshua rocked an all-blue outfit from head to toe.
Harris Is The Father Of Five Children
Josh Harris kids are sons Thomas Harris, Stuart Harris, and Pierce Harris, and daughters Bridget Harris and Hannah Harris.
As soon as Joshua bought the Sixers, Stuart started playing basketball in basketball. Later when he bought the New Jersey Devils, Thomas started playing hockey.
Though the five of his offspring are growing very differently than he used to, he and Marjorie try to instill hard work and humility in them. Josh wants to create “true excellence”, something that the people close to him can be proud of.
Hannah Harris
Owner of Philadelphia 76ers daughter Hannah Harris is a Marketing Analyst at PepsiCo. She was previously an Associate Marketing Analyst at NBA.
Hannah is the oldest child of Josh and Marjorie. She is a 2020 BA graduate of Harvard University with a minor in Psychology. While she was a college student, she presided over as President of Chabad, Marketing manager at The Hasty Pudding Theatricals and Campus Marketing Representative at NBC Universal Media, LLC.
She lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with her husband AJ Lehrman.
Stuart Harris
Stuart Harris is a student-athlete at the University of Pennsylvania. He played basketball in high school.
Stuart is studying law and will graduate in 2023 with a Bachelor in Legal Studies degree.
In 2021, he was an Intern in the Organized Crime Section for three months. Stuart also has an experience as a Policy intern for Ray McGuire for mayor and as Emergency Medical Technician.
In March 2019, Stuart ran a half marathon in Jerusalem on behalf of the charity Gift of Life. The charity helps find a match for someone who has blood cancer to hopefully save their life. It hit a little close to home for him as his grandfather passed away with a clotting issue.
Thomas Harris
Josh Harris son Thomas Harris is a Sophomore researcher at Harvard University. Thomas is studying Bachelor of Arts with a focus on Biology.
At the Ivy League college, he is a board member of Harvard Chabad, a writer for The Harvard Crimson, and a part-time researcher at the Holbrook lab.
While a high school student at the Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School, Thomas worked as a research assistant at Columbia University in New York for three and a half years.
Besides being a brilliant student academically, he was also a phenomenal athlete. Thomas played hockey and donned jersey number 78 in high school. His birthday falls in April.
Bridget Harris
Bridget Harris is the youngest daughter of Joshua and Marjorie Harris. She is a teenager.
At the 41st Anniversary Gala THE MAGIC OF SPORTS To Honor Joshua Harris on November 5, 2012, Bridget’s mother held her in her arms as Owen Hoffmann clicked a shot of their family photo.
She wore white tights under a white dress. Her hair was pulled into a pretty ponytail by a blue hairband. Bridget’s sister Hannah rocked a pink outfit which was completed by a black heel.
Pierce Harris

Josh Harris Commanders family comprises his parents Jacob Harris and Sylvia Harris and his brother Gabe Harris.
His father Jacob Harris was the Valedictorian of Caldwell High School. Jacob was a fan of the basketball team Washington Bullets, now known as Washington Wizards, and was in prize possession of the season tickets. A skilled orthodontist, he would regularly make his way down to the Landover to watch the team at the Capital Centre.
Joshua’s mother Sylvia Harris is a graduate of Temple University with a degree in Secondary Education. She is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and now resides in Washington D.C. She and Jacob raised him and Gabe in an upper-middle-class family.
His paternal grandfather was an electrician who was known to own a toy store.
Joshua’s brother Gabe is married to Kristin Harris and has three children, two sons and one daughter. Gabe’s oldest child Sam Harris is 23 years old and a student at the University of Oregon. His daughter Allie Harris is a senior high school student.
Kristin is a teacher at South Orange-Maplewood School District.
After marrying Marjorie, Joshua’s family grew by six with the addition of their little babies.
