“Nation Broadcasting confirms that Suzie McGuire no longer works for Nation Radio Scotland,” they said in a statement.
During Sunday’s game, the 51-year-old DJ tweeted multiple videos from her seat, including clips of her singing along to Wham’s “Last Christmas” and The Wolfe Tones’ “Let the People Sing,” for which she apologized for her “poor singing.”
She had previously uploaded a photo of an ice bucket full of drinks and wine while visiting the stadium for pre-match corporate hospitality.
However, after sharing the ‘disgraceful’ video, which was viewed thousands of times before being removed, the former Clyde 1 host came under fire.
Nil by Mouth, Scotland’s premier anti-sectarian charity, said the Tweet sparked “a lot of outrage” among football fans.
“People have a responsibility for the things they say, sing, and post online,” a Nil by Mouth spokesman said, “and this individual has definitely generated a lot of upset with their acts.”
“It’s quite disappointing that anyone would want to celebrate a victory by yelling such nonsense.”
