Where Is Jocelyn Shaker Today?
The real-life Jocelyn Shaker was found, and the movie had a happy ending, but the real-life Jocelyn Madeleine was never found, and the investigation is still going on.
A German prosecutor had stated that he is “certain” that Madeleine McCann, the British child who went missing from a holiday in Portugal in 2007 when she was three years old, was murdered by suspect Christian Brückner.
The case’s investigator, Hans Christian Wolters, told Portuguese network CMTV on Tuesday that detectives had discovered “new evidence” linking Brückner, a child sex abuser and convicted rapist, to the kid’s abduction. Brückner has not yet been charged.
Kate and Gerry McCann issued a statement on April 22 after Portuguese and German officials designated Brückner as the formal suspect in the case, saying they “welcomed” the news since it signaled “progress” in the investigation.
