Aleksandr Dugina and his daughter Daria Dugina had initially intended to leave the event in the same car. However, he changed the car at the last minute.
According to musician and friend Peter Lundstrom, the two were about to depart the Tradition family festival at the Zakharovo estate together when he got into another car. Instead, a fatal explosion in the jeep ambushed Darya, wrote The Sun.
As per the reports, she was killed instantly in the shocking blast. The incident took place outside of the Russian capital, close to the community of Bolshie Vyazemy. It is said that she has been riding in a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado since it caught fire.
The head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Denis Pusilin, said Aleksandr was the bomb’s intended victim. He also quickly blamed the incident on terrorists of the Ukrainian regime.
The local media also said the alleged car bomb was an assassination attempt on the Russian author.
Darya’s father is a close friend and adviser to the Russian President. There have been rumors that he played a significant role in formulating Putin’s strategy. Thus, it is believed that he was the target of the bombing, but his daughter became the victim instead.

Daria Dugina, the daughter of Aleksandr Dugina, is believed to have died in a car explosion. There is various speculation regarding the incident. Some conspiracy theories claim that it was caused by bombing, whereas some provide a possibility of an accident.
Nonetheless, the cause of the explosion is yet to be determined. She was a political analyst and publisher of the pro-Russian publication United World International.
While her father is known as a prominent fascist figure who is a key influence in Putin’s strategy, she was infamous for her publication UWI spreading misinformation.
In April, the US and the UK added her name to the sanction lists for running a “platform for Russian ultra-nationalists to promote disinformation and propaganda.”
She allegedly called the West and Europe “totalitarian racists, colonialists, and Nazis” in a March interview with Russian YouTuber Nikolai Rosov.
Likewise, some experts had warned that the ongoing conflict in Ukraine may have given Aleksandr a “new arena for influence” over the Kremlin.
