Originally born on July 28, 1937, Walter David Jacobson is a former Chicago television news presenter who is now working as a Chicago radio news personality. He is now a contributor to WGN Radio AM 720, where he delivers commentary pieces. Previously, from 1973 to 1993, he was an anchor for the 6 p.m. news on WBBM-TV in Chicago, where he again worked from 2010 to 2013. From 1993 until 2006, he was the main anchor of WFLD-FOX TV’s News at 9 and the host of FOX Chicago Perspective, a one-hour news and politics programme that aired on Sunday mornings on WFLD. He also worked as a reporter for the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun-Times.
