Vladimir Putin is a Russian politician who is currently President of the Russian Federation.
Vladimir Putin’s bio
Putin was born Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin on October 7, 1952 in Leningrad,Russian SFSR, Soviet Union (present-day Saint Petersburg). Born into an ordinary family, he was the last of the three children of Maria Ivanovna Putina, a factory worker, and Vladimir Spiridonovich Putin, who worked as a security guard and later as a foreman at the carriage factory. Before his birth, Vladimir Putin’s parents had already lost their first two sons, Viktor and Albert, both of whom were born in the mid-1930s. While Viktor died of diphtheria during World War II, Albert died as an infant.
Meanwhile, at the start of World War I, Putin’s family (i.e. his father’s family) had to move from St. Petersburg to his grandmother’s village of Pominovo in the region due to the hardship and hunger that were commonplace in their former place of residence TV pull. In Pominovo, Vladimir Putin’s parents met and married at the age of 17. At the end of the war, the Putins moved into a room in a shared flat in a typical St. Petersburg apartment building on Baskov Street.
On September 1, 1960, Putin began his academic journey to School No. 193, Baskov Lane, Leningrad. There he described himself as a troublemaker, not a pioneer. After Putin completed his eighth grade in 1968, he attended St. Petersburg’s 281 High School, where he studied German, graduating in 1970.
After graduating from higher institution,Putin began his career in the state security agencies with an education at the 401st KGB School in Okhta, Leningrad. At the beginning of his activity in 1975, Putin’s first appointment was in the General Secretariat, then in the counterintelligence department, where he worked for about five months. He was then sent to Moscow for a year of special training. Returning to Leningrad, Putin worked in the First Main Directorate – the secret service – for about four years and six months before returning to Moscow to study at the Andropov Red Banner Institute, where he was preparing for his trip to Germany.
Between 1985 and 1990, Vladimir Putin worked in local intelligence in Dresden, East Germany. During his years of service he was promoted twice, first to lieutenant colonel and later to senior assistant to the department head. Returning to Leningrad from Dresden in 1990, he accepted a new position at Leningrad State University as an assistant to the rector (responsible for international relations). Soon after, he was appointed advisor to the chairman of the Leningrad City Council. The following year (1991) he became Chairman of the International Relations Committee of St. Petersburg City Hall and from 1994 held the position of Deputy Chairman of the St. Petersburg City Government.
Vladimir Putin was busy and resigned from the KGB after working at City Hall.

His capital
It was unbelievable when Muammar Gaddafi was valued at $400 billion. Putin’s net worth could take a similar shape.
Several business reports strongly suggest that the Kremlin boss may actually be the richest man in the world, at a staggering $200 billion.
In July 2017, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos briefly surpassed Bill Gates with a total of $92 billion. Thanks to the price increase on Amazon.
At present, the world’s 2 richest billionaires are still fighting over the net worth of $90 billion.
Making the struggle of the rich even more interesting, Bill Browder’s recent suggestion is that both tech billionaires may need more years to work to match Vladimir Putin’s worth.
According to the report, Bill Browder, a US financier, bluntly suggested that Russian President Vladimir Putin was wealthier than the combined fortune of Bezos and Gates.
Bill Browder, CEO of Hermitage Capital Management, has an estimated net worth of $200 billion, according to Putin. He made the announcement in the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday, July 27, 2017, saying, “I believe he’s worth $200 billion.”
In 2008, Russian lawyer Sergei Magnitsky uncovered a tax fraud charge against Russian officials worth US$230 million. The lawyer was soon locked up in prison until his death.
Officially, President Putin is entitled to an annual income of $133,000.
As a matter of fact, Browder believes Putin is secretly making money from Russia’s dubious oligarchs.
He explains it this way: “Putin originally fought with the oligarchs when he came to power. One by one, after Mikhail Khodorkovsky was convicted, these other oligarchs went to Vladimir Putin and said, “What do we have to do to not be in this cage?” He said very simply, “50 percent.” Not 50 percent for the Russian government or 50 percent for the Presidential Administration of Russia, 50 percent for Vladimir Putin”
In other words, these oligarchs bribe Putin with about 50% of their deals. Browder says “they keep his money for him.”
He also suggests he may have hidden investments in the United States.
It’s worth noting that Putin’s net worth hasn’t always been open to accurate estimates.
Relationship-married, wife, girlfriend
Vladimir Putin was once married but is currently divorced. He met his former wife Lyudmila Putina through a mutual friend. At that time she worked as a flight attendant for PJSC Aeroflot, also known as Russian Airlines. Three years after they first met, Vladimir proposed to Lyudmila, and on July 28, 1983, the lovebirds tied the knot in a wedding ceremony. The couple married when Putin was 30 and Lyudmila, 25.
But 30 years later, exactly on June 6, 2013, Putin announced that their marriage was over. On April 1 of the next year, he confirmed that the divorce was final.
Since his divorce from his wife, the Russian president has been linked to different women. The latest of these is Alina Kabaeva, a retired Russian gymnast who is rumored to have been romantically involved with Putin since 2008, when she was still married.
Although Mr Putin has repeatedly denied that the Olympic gold medalist was his secret lover, speculation as to their relationship has persisted. It was also reported that the couple have children together.
Alina Kabaeva, nicknamed “Russia’s First Mistress”, has also denied being the Russian President’s secret partner, but it hasn’t helped as she purposely refuses to mention her mystery partner’s name in interviews.
Alina was spotted with a silver band on her wedding finger in February 2017. But no one knows for sure if it means she is secretly married to Putin.

daughters
Vladimir and Lyudmila Putin had two children together while they were married. Before leaving for Germany, the couple gave birth to their first daughter, Maria Putina, on April 28, 1985 in Leningrad. The following year, on August 31, Ekaterina Putina, their second daughter, was born in Dresden. The two sisters were named after their grandmothers, Maria Putina and Yekaterina Shkrebneva.
However, the media would, in its usual manner, never be willing to let the ladies remain a secret forever and digging as a result. After searching for information, an alleged picture of Maria emerged in 2016, allegedly her first picture since her father took office in 1999. In addition to the pictures, claims emerged that the Moscow University medical student was living a high-flying life with Jorrit Faassen, her Dutch husband.
On the other hand, Media Discovery claims that the younger daughter Katerina, reportedly married to Russian billionaire Kirill Shamalov, is a successful rock and roll acrobatic dancer. She is reportedly always using her maternal grandmother’s surname, Tikhonova, to better protect her anonymity.

President Putin is 168 cm (1.68 m) tall. He also weighs 71 kg, has dark brown eyes and light brown hair.
