Vivianne, who has a purple belt in jiu-jitsu, has fought twice professionally in Muay Thai. Jose is a proud and supportive husband, who once claimed that Vivianne could easily beat professional wrestler Ronda Rousey.
As an athlete, Vivianne pays great attention to physical activity and fitness. It came as no surprise when she was still exercising at seven months pregnant.
She once wrote in a now-unavailable Instagram post:
“Everything is possible as long as you dedicate your time, your body and your mind. I am 7 months pregnant and I practice what I like within my limitations. Look for good professionals!”
In addition to her athletic career, Vivianne made on-screen appearances in two episodes of UFC Embedded: Vlog Series (2015).
2. Love For Martial Arts Brought Vivianne And Jose Together.
Vivianne Aldo met her partner, Jose, by the virtue of their love for martial arts.
When she moved to Rio from Curitiba, Vivianne met her future husband at a gym. The couple, who had a lot in common, began a relationship shortly after, while Jose was still living in the favela.
Vivianne was a supportive partner who understood Jose’s condition and asked him to live with her.
However, Vivianne’s father did not accept him staying in their home unless they were married. The pair subsequently exchanged their vows in 2005.
Only 14 years old at the time, Jose promised his wife to never drink or hurt his wife after an dreadful experience of seeing his father mistreat his mother. It was a promise he has kept since.

4. Vivianne Aldo Struggled For Her Second Child.
Vivianne Aldo, who is now a mother of two, had her second child after trying for ten years.
Following their marriage in 2005, Vivianne and Jose welcomed their first child, a daughter named Joanna, in 2012.
Around four years later, they started thinking about having another child. However, things weren’t going to be that easy.
Vivianne even tried to get medical help and adopted procedures, including insemination, ovulation injections, and freezing of her eggs. She did get pregnant twice but the pregnancies ended up in miscarriages.
Nevertheless, the pair didn’t lose hope and Vivianne gave birth to another child, a son named Jose Aldo III, at age 41.
Mrs. Aldo took to Instagram to share her happiness and relief. She wrote:
“With the heart carrying anxiety and very happy, we find out we are having a BOY! This is exactly what you brought into our lives from the moment we knew you were on your way, our boy.”
While delighted to have another kid, Vivianne admitted the difficulties of pregnancy after reaching 40. She had to endure many challenges, but having her second child and her first son made it all worthwhile.
5. Vivianne Aldo Daughter: Joanna Aldo
Joanna Aldo is the elder of two children of Vivanne and Jose Aldo.
The ten-year-old is an important part of her parents’ life, often talked about and featured on their social media. Since she is still a child, very little is known about Joanna.
However, when talking to MMA Fighting, Vivianne shared that her daughter is lactose intolerant and hence can not have chocolates.
Although Vivianne has a sweet tooth, she often has to moderate her habits considering her daughter’s situation and her husband’s need for a healthy lifestyle.
Furthermore, Vivianne also mentioned Joanna’s interest in ballet dancing, cosmetics, and makeup.
