Virgil Van Dijk Parents, Siblings & Kids

Van Dijk was born to parents Ron van Dijk and Hellen Fo Sieeuw in Breda, in the southern Netherlands. His mother is Suriname, and his father is Dutch.

His mother, Hellen, was born in Suriname, has the nationality of Surinamese, and is of Chinese descent. Nothing makes her more proud than the title “Virgil’s mother,” which is a well-known reference to her.

Born in the Netherlands, his father, Ron van Dijk, is a Dutchman. He is a member of the Germanic people. Despite having soccer in his blood due to Virgil’s Dutch father, a family quarrel prevented the two from frequently conversing.

Virgil’s father encouraged him to take up soccer at a young age, playing everywhere he could find action. Ron Van Dijk is alleged to have abandoned his kid and family, causing significant difficulty in his early years.

He has made it clear that his mother raised him alone, despite that he doesn’t frequently discuss it. Virgil is quite close with his mother, and he has been giving her the best life.

After his father abandoned him, Virgil was forced to work extremely hard to provide for his mother and siblings. He even played football while working as a dishwasher to achieve his goals.

Back then, he was a right-back. He never gave up on his goals, though. He kept acting by what was right at the time. At 17, he could participate in a center defense position in 2008.

Virgil Van Dijk mother Hellen Fo Sieeuw is Surinamese and a mother of three kids, sons Jordan, Virgil, and daughter Jenee.

Her son Jordan Chin is married to his wife Elize Jaelynn. After they gave birth to daughter Yaelynn, she became a grandma for the first time on May 23, 2014, with the birth of her granddaughter.

His father Ron van Dijk left his Surinamese mother, Hellen Fo Sieeuw, and his two siblings, Jordan and Jenee, when he was 12 years old. According to Steven Fo Sieeuw, it was because of a family dispute.

In June 2014, her children wished her a happy father’s day because she was their mother and father to them. Based on her tweets, she is a Scorpio.

In 2014, she tweeted how much she walked in how much time almost on a daily basis. Whether she walked eight km or 30 km, she would tweet out her number and time. She could walk 21 km in under three and a half hours.

In August 2021, Hellen walked around as a tourist around Antwerp station with her daughter Jenee. She used to be available on Twitter under the handle @_jeneetjexx.

Virgil van Dijik has two siblings, brother Jordan and sister Jenee.

After his father remarried, Virgil and his two siblings removed their father’s surname and started writing theirmother’s maiden name, Fo Sieeuw.

Early in his career, there were untrue rumors circulating that he was connected to striker Sergio Van Dijk, who also played for various Dutch club teams.

The younger brother of Virgil van Dijk is Jordan Fo Sieeuw. Jordan was brought up with a sister and a brother. In addition to being known as a famous brother, he works as a businessman.

Jordan is married to his wife Elize Jaelynn. They gave birth to their first child, daughter Yaelynn, on May 23, 2014.

Virgil Van Dijk is a father to four children, including Nila, Jada van Dijk. Despite having four children, they have only given the public the names of two of them.

His firstborn, Nila, was born on 01 Sep 2014. She is eight years old as of 2022. Jadi’s age is not yet revealed, but she is around five years old.

Virgil van Dijk uses social media, but he hardly ever shares any intimate images. The updates on Instagram are all about his time on the football field.

Since a father is very concerned about the safety of his children, he rarely brings them out in public. Before the UEFA Champions League round of 16 first-leg encounters at Anfield, Liverpool, Virgil was last spotted with his kids.

The childbirth procedure for Virgil and Rike’s daughter Nila was dramatic because the football player was asked to play for the Netherlands national team just before she was due in September.

The defender’s dream had come true, but he did not want to miss the birth of his child. As a result, he was able to arrange for Rike to give birth by induction so he could rejoin the team later.

Virgil Van Dijk wife, Rike Nooitgedagt, was a fashion sales manager. She is a mother of their four children.

Virgil van Dijk, a center-back for Liverpool, and his wife, Rike Nooitgedagt, have known one another since the beginning of his football career when he played for his neighborhood team.

When Virgil, who began his career as a striker with Groningen, joined Celtic in 2013 and moved to Glasgow, she quit her job as fashion sales manager to follow him.

In the world of football, Rike Nooitgedagt and Virgil van Dijk are, without a doubt, the most adored couple. Despite having the opportunity to date ladies from the spotlight, Virgil van Dijk chose to get married to Rike Nooitgedagt, his childhood sweetheart.

Rike, like her husband, was born in Breda, Netherlands. Rike is more of an introvert in the media than most of the spouses or girlfriends of celebrities.

Rike was aware of the lifestyle her footballer husband would lead would involve travel, notoriety, and daily interaction with new people. But despite being a reserved individual, she decided to pursue him and remain with him.
