As per the NY Times, the incident happened on Saturday, 14 May 2022. An 18-year-old gunman came to the location and started open firing.
The shooter had a white supremacist, racist, and anti-immigrant ideology, and his main target was ebony people. He shot 13 people and 11 of them were black.
Among them,10 died at the scene whilst the other 3 were heavily wounded. Police officers immediately reached the scene and identified the culprit as a teenager, Peyton S Gendron.
