Wilbert Mora is an officer who was fatally shot by Lashawn McNeil, 47, on Friday evening at his mother’s apartment. The video cannot be found online but here we are with the details of the incident.
The officer had received the domestic disturbance call on Friday evening at 6:15 on West 135th Street to which Mora, Rivera, and the unidentified officer responded.
Upon arriving at the apartment, the officers went to the rear bedroom but were welcomed with the gunshots which ultimately killed the 22-year-old Rivera and injured Mora.
He tried to run after the shooting but was confronted by the unnamed officer who shot him twice. The police department had announced that McNeil was dead at the scene but later reported that he is in the hospital and does not have a chance to survive.
McNeil was found out to have a history of getting arrested and was revealed to have rabid beliefs in anti-government conspiracy theories.
Mora is still receiving treatment at the Harlem Hospital. He was expected to go for a second surgery after the fatal shooting which nearly ended his life.
