A chilling incident took place on Saturday morning at Times Square Subway.
A homeless stranged man, in his sixties, reportedly pushed an Asian woman in front of a train while she was waiting for her transport.
The crowd quickly came to witness the incident and were frightened until the man named Simon took the subway vehicle to move to another place.
He was later detained by the officers in Canal Street after the horrifying footage of the murder incident got to the police.
The unhinged homeless man even referred to himself as god and said that he can do anything when the reporters tried to ask him some questions following his arrest.
Why Is Martial Simon Arrested?
Martial Simon is arrested for pushing an Asian woman to death in front of a train.
The incident took place at Times Square and the investigators have detained Simon after they found his horrendous acts from the investigation.
Following the arrest, Martial was taken to the police station where he was pictured among the officers.
When the reporters tried to get an answer from the man, Simon said that he was a God.
Furthermore, he raged with anger and even cursed the reporters as he added ‘ I’m God. I can do anything because I’m God.’
As he was being taken away, one journalist asked Simon for the reason behind the act, to which he replied that the woman stole his jacket.
However, this didn’t make any sense as the reporting officer later revealed that he had attempted to push another woman before.
As the first woman became aware, Martial moved to the victim and pushed her.

An unidentified Asian woman was pushed in front of a train by a homeless man named Martial Simon.
The Saturday morning incident caused havoc among the local public transport users.
Simon, who was in the station, tried to push another woman, who was not an Asian, but she reacted before he could do anything.
So, he moved to another woman near the railway line and pushed her when the train came near.
New York Post reports that there is speculation of this case related to the COVID pandemic.
It even mentions that the crimes against Asian people have increased by more than 300 percent since the COVID outbreak.
However, any official confirmation behind the motive is still unknown.
Reports say that the man was mentally ill for more than a decade.
